Welcome to Maluhana

Integrative Psychiatry Led From the Heart

About Maluhana

Malu [ˈmɐ.lu] is Hawaiian for peace.

Hana [ha̠na̠] is Japanese for flower.

Maluhana blends these concepts to cultivate a safe, nurturing space, a place to grow, explore, and navigate your unique path to bloom fully and live the life you truly want to lead.

We are an integrative psychiatric practice with a focus on holistic care shaped for the individual. By weaving together the strengths of therapy, lifestyle habits, and medication when appropriate, we guide mental health care for the whole person.

Speciality Focus

Perinatal Care
We specialize in women’s mental health, with a focus on care during the perinatal period. Bringing a new life to the world can be one of the most multifaceted, beautiful, and challenging experiences of them all. From those who are preparing, are pregnant, have a newborn, are facing challenges in conceiving, or have suffered tremendous loss, we especially want to be there for you.

Existentialism
In the grand scheme of life, we will all face existential questions - inquiries into the meaning of our lives, the fears and feelings surrounding death, the nature of freedom, and the experience of isolation. These questions can surface at any time, whether life feels stagnant or swept up in turbulence. We specialize in exploring these questions as they arise throughout one’s life.

We currently provide telehealth treatment to the residents of Washington state.
